This school year will mark my 18th in the Archdiocese of Detroit, where I have
served as a classroom teacher in various grades. I am looking forward to stepping out
of the classroom and into a leadership role. I attended Western Michigan University for
my undergrad, Oakland University for my Masters degree, and I am currently finalizing
my program of administration at Central Michigan University. Strangely enough with
allegiances to those different universities you’ll actually find me rooting for the Michigan
State Spartans, especially during football season! I am the product of thirteen years of
Catholic education and I always say that tuition dollars were the greatest gift my parents
could have ever provided for me.
As the assistant principal, I will work tirelessly to support students academically,
spiritually, and socially in partnership with both teachers and parents. My passion has
been and always will be educating students. With that in mind, you can expect that I will
bring the same devotion to my new role as I did to being a classroom teacher.
I look forward to meeting all of you as we start the 2023-2024 school year. Enjoy
the remainder of your summer!
