Scope of the Committee
The School Advisory Committee (SAC) provides parents and parishioners a voice in the formation and education of their children at St. Patrick Catholic School. It serves as a resource to the Pastor and Principal, for the benefit of the school. The Principal collaborates with the School Committee to develop and recommend policy for the school. After a policy is approved by the Pastor and implemented by the Principal, the School Advisory Committee directly supports that policy.
Membership
The School Advisory Committee consists of 13 active members who participate in the consensus decision-making process. Nine general members serve with four ex-officio members; the Pastor, the Principal, the parish administrator, and a Parents Club Board Member representative.
The School Advisory Committee is Looking for New Members Each April
We are looking for parents who are interested in the continued development and improvement of St. Patrick School and its students. Being on the SAC is a great way to be involved in the future of our school. The SAC meets once per month in the evening. If you are interested in becoming more involved with your child’s education, please email the committee at [email protected] or Mr.
Charles Hoying, Principal at [email protected]. ByLaws can be found here.
