Technology is at the forefront of the St. Patrick School educational goals for its students. With an up-to-date computer lab and classroom computers, technology is integrated into the students’ curriculum whenever possible.
The wireless connectivity throughout our school makes it easy for teachers to integrate educational videos and access information from the Internet. All teachers have laptop computers and smartboards to make this possible. There are also document cameras available to interface with them.
Student Response Systems for more effective assessment are available to work along with the interactive whiteboards. In addition, our fifth through eighth grades have 1 to 1 computing with chromebook carts in each classroom for regular use. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade have one set of chrome books for each pair of classrooms (1 to 2). All of this technology is possible because of the generous support of the Parents Club and effective use of grant funding.
